Geneve Lions upset Lugano Tigers on the road to advance into SBL Finals. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 84-76. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Marquis Addison (195-91, college: Missouri So., agency: Inception Sports) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 7 rebounds. Swedish point guard Thomas Massamba (183-85) contributed with 16 points, 9 assists and 4 steals for the winners. The former international forward Derek Stockalper (196-84, college: Cal Poly - SLO) replied with 18 points and 5 rebounds and Italian power forward Patrick Baldassarre (200-86, agency: Players Group) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Lugano Tigers. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
