Alba fired past Kormend in the consolation finals opener. The game was mostly controlled by Alba. Kormend managed to win second period 27-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ghanian guard Alhaji Mohammed (192-81, college: Louisville, agency: 3Eye) fired 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American swingman Trevis Simpson (193-91, college: NC-Greensboro, agency: 3Eye) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Steven Davis (203-93, college: Wright St.) produced 16 points and 8 rebounds and the former international power forward Milan Csorvasi (209-88, agency: HMS) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side.
