Finals Game 2: Kormend - Alba 83-95

Alba celebrated Bronze medals. They beat Kormend to sweep the consolation final series. It looked good early as Kormend took a 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Alba had a 23-14 second period charge getting the lead and Kormend was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 83-95. Alba dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Kormend's 36. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. American swingman Trevis Simpson (193-91, college: NC-Greensboro, agency: 3Eye) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 assists. Ghanian guard Alhaji Mohammed (192-81, college: Louisville, agency: 3Eye) contributed with 20 points for the winners. American forward Steven Davis (203-93, college: Wright St.) replied with 17 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Akos Halasz (183-91, agency: HMS) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Kormend. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.
