Strangely Dragons Rhoendorf outrebounded Fraport Skyliners II 39-27 including 25 on the defensive glass. Swedish guard Elijah Clarance (195-98, college: Illinois St.) stepped up and scored 21 points and 5 assists for the winners and American guard JT Roach (193-95, college: Concordia Irvine) chipped in 20 points. At the losing side American guard Raekwon Miller (192-96, college: NC-Asheville) responded with 14 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals and Lithuanian center Zygimantas Riauka (205-93, college: Wisc.-Parkside) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Dragons Rhoendorf players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Fraport Skyliners II will face Wuerzburg (#6) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Dragons Rhoendorf will play against Giessen 46ers II and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
