Artland Dragons defeated Lions in Quakenbrueck 78-67. The game was dominated by American players. Guard Chase Griffin (190-83, college: Pepperdine) fired 21 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Guard Pierre Bland (188-92, college: PFW) chipped in 17 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Artland Dragons' coach Florian Hartenstein used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
