But Muenchen OSB was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Deisenhofen 81-69 on Saturday night. Oberhaching made 27-of-35 free shots (77.1 percent) during the game. Muenchen OSB was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was center Moritz Wohlers (203-84, college: Mont.St.-Billings) who scored 23 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!). Point guard Janosch Koegler (190-93) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four Oberhaching players scored in double figures. American guard Omari Knox (188-86, college: Bloomfield) produced 21 points and 9 rebounds and William Bessoir (203-99) added 17 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Oberhaching will face Goldbach in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Muenchen OSB will play against TSV Troester (#6) in Breitenguessbach and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
