Regular Season Round 2: Goldbach - Schwabing 76-74

Goldbach used a home court advantage and edged the opponent from Schwabing 76-74 on Saturday night. However just two-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The best player for the winners was Brazilian point guard Luan Pereira-Xavier (187-92) who scored 24 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Leonard Sattler (192-97) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. Four Goldbach players scored in double figures. Guard Joshua Obiesie (197-0) produced 17 points and 5 rebounds and center Marco Lachmann (205-91) added 21 points respectively for the guests. Schwabing's coach Robert Scheinberg rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Goldbach will face Oberhaching (#3) in Deisenhofen in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Schwabing will play at home against Treuchtlingen (#5) and hope to win that game.
