Regular Season Round 2: Braunschweig - Herner 61-68

There was no surprise when Braunschweig (0-3) was defeated at home by Herner TC (2-1) 68-61. American forward Jordan Frericks (185-94, college: Missouri, agency: LBM Management) notched 10 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import forward Drew Sannes (190, college: MSU Moorhead) supported her with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks. Even 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists by Slovenian guard Eva Rupnik (177-92, agency: ProDep Management) did not help to save the game for Braunschweig. American forward Maggie Mulligan (189, college: Massachusetts) added 13 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Herner TC will have a break next round. Braunschweig will play at home against Eisvogel Freiburg (#5) and hope to win that game.
