No shocking result in a game in Diedorf where fourth ranked Topstar (3-1) won against bottom-ranked Bad Aibling (0-3) 80-64 on Wednesday. Bad Aibling was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard CJ Carr (173-95, college: Missouri So.) who helped to win the game recording 36 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds and naturalized American forward Dominik Veney (198-87) who added 11 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side guard Simon Bradaric responded with 32 points and 5 rebounds and Johannes Wienet scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Topstar have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place in South-East, which they share with Ansbach. Newly promoted Bad Aibling still closes the standings with three games lost. Topstar will face Bamberg (#5) at home in the next round. Bad Aibling will play against Jena II (#12) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
