Regular Season Round 4: Stahnsdorf - Vechta II 67-65

Very expected game in Stahnsdorf where 12th ranked Vechta-2 (1-4) was edged by sixth ranked RSV Eintracht (3-1) 67-65 on Wednesday. However just two-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Worth to mention a great performance of Lithuanian point guard Karolis Babkauskas (185-91, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Matthew Dogan (201-94, college: Gannon) who added 15 points during the contest. At the losing side point guard Malte Stenzel (182-98) responded with 13 points and 5 assists and point guard Fynn Aumann (187-1) scored 16 points (made all of his seven free throws). Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. RSV Eintracht moved-up to fifth place in North. Loser Vechta-2 dropped to the thirteenth position with four games lost. RSV Eintracht will face Rendsburg (#8) at home in the next round.
