Regular Season Round 4: Wusterhausen - Vechta II 76-63

There was no surprise in Wildau where 12th ranked Vechta-2 (1-4) was defeated by second ranked WSG Koenigs (4-1) 76-63 on Saturday. WSG Koenigs forced 21 Vechta-2 turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Cory Hollaman who helped to win the game recording 34 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and point guard Alexander Giese (180-94) who added 17 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. At the losing side Canadian forward Dani Elgadi (198-94) responded with 15 points and Radii Caisin (195) scored 6 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 7 steals. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. WSG Koenigs maintains second position in North with 4-1 record having just three point less than leader Speyer, which they share with Wolmirstedt and Langenhagen. Loser Vechta-2 dropped to the thirteenth place with four games lost. WSG Koenigs will face ETV (#15) in Hamburg in the next round which should be an easy win for them.
