Regular Season Round 4: Schwabing - Ansbach 87-72

There was a change at the Regionalliga leadership position after last games. Round 4 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Ansbach (3-1). They were defeated by thirteenth ranked Schwabing (1-2) 87-72 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Ansbach. Schwabing looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 3 passes made by Ansbach's players. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Joshua Obiesie (197-0) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals and Isaiah Ihnen (206-0) who added 17 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Schwabing's coach Robert Scheinberg used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side forward Paul Nzeocha (192-91) responded with 25 points and 8 rebounds and forward Walter Simon (202-89, college: Cumberland) scored 22 points and 9 rebounds. Schwabing left bottom position moving up to eighth place in South-East, which they share with Rosenheim and Treuchtlingen. Ansbach at the other side dropped to the third position with one game lost. They share it with Leitershofen. They were replaced at the leadership position by Speyer. Ansbach will play next round against league's leader Oberhaching trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Schwabing will try to continue on its current victory against eighth ranked Rosenheim on the road.
