There was a surprise result when thirteenth ranked Neustadt TSV (1-3) beat on the road higher ranked Rendsburg (2-2) 83-75 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of British guard Rishi Kakad (188-87, college: Hawaii Pacific) who helped to win the game recording 32 points and American guard Brandon Roberts (185-94, college: Al.-Huntsville) who added 23 points during the contest. Neustadt TSV's coach Allen Smith used an eleven-player rotation saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American forward Pierce Cumpstone (203-94, college: Stonehill) responded with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 12 rebounds and center Christopher Geist (208-95) scored 10 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Neustadt TSV left bottom position moving up to eleventh place in North, which they share with ALBA Berlin II. Loser Rendsburg dropped to the eighth position with two games lost. Neustadt TSV will face higher ranked Aschersleben (#6) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
