Regular Season Round 3: Iserlohn - Rist Wedel 83-75

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of SC Rist Wedel (2-1) on the court of Iserlohn. Visitors were defeated by Iserlohn 83-75. It was a good game for American power forward Lamar Mallory (201-90, college: Glenville St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. Naturalized Russian forward Nikita Khartchenkov (200-87) contributed with 22 points for the winners. Mallory is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Iserlohn's coach Dragan Torbica allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Lithuanian center Aurimas Adomaitis (205-87, college: LIU Brooklyn) answered with 19 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Malo Valerien (197-92) added 17 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for SC Rist Wedel. Four SC Rist Wedel players scored in double figures. Iserlohn will play against ETB Wohnbau (#6) in Essen in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. SC Rist Wedel will play at home against Sixers (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
