Regular Season Round 1: Sezana - Plama Pur 85-67

Sezana used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Ilirska Bistrica 85-67 on Saturday night. The game without a history. Sezana led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Strangely Plama Pur outrebounded Sezana 43-31 including a 22-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Robert Abramovic (185-88, agency: PEPI SPORT) stepped up and scored 24 points for the winners and power forward Luka Dimec (207-90) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side Anej Srebovt (-89) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds and power forward Robi Hrescak (203-92) scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sezana will face LTH Castings (#6) in Skofja Loka in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Plama Pur will play at home against Terme Olimia and hope to win that game.
