Regular Season Round 2: Horsens IC - Stevnsgade 106-70

Date: October 7, 2018
An exciting game was played in Horsens. Horsens IC faced Stevnsgade. Host Horsens IC (3-0) smashed guests from Stevnsgade (0-2) 106-70. The game without a history. Horsens IC led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 61.1 percent from the field. Horsens IC outrebounded Stevnsgade 35-24 including 24 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. International power forward Lasse Elbaek (211-94) notched 21 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and American guard Brandon Tabb (193-95, college: Beth.-Cookman) supported him with 16 points and 9 rebounds. Tabb is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Five Horsens IC players scored in double figures. Even 24 points and 5 rebounds by Stefan Jevric (202-98) did not help to save the game for Stevnsgade. FYR Macedonian guard Boris Vukicevic (190-98) added 13 points for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Horsens IC will have a break next round. Stevnsgade will play at home against Randers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
