Regular Season Round 3: Ehingen - Rostock 77-80

A very close game took place in Allmendingen between Rostock and Ehingen/Urspringschule. Rostock (2-1) got a very close victory on the road over Ehingen/Urspringschule (0-2). Rostock managed to escape with a 3-point win 80-77 on Sunday evening. The best player for the winners was Canadian forward Yannick Anzuluni (205-87, college: Houghton) who scored 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Tony Hicks (186-94, college: Louisville) chipped in 10 points and 7 assists. Rostock's coach Milan Skobalj used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Seger Bonifant (201-93, college: W.Liberty St.) who recorded 18 points and 6 assists and the other American import forward Tanner Leissner (201-95, college: New Hampshire) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Rostock will meet at home Uni Baskets (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ehingen/Urspringschule will play against Lions in Karlsruhe and hopes to get finally their first victory.
