Regular Season Round 4: Mannheim - Kronberg 84-66

Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked Mannheim (2-1) beat at home bottom-ranked Kronberg (0-3) 84-66 on Sunday. Kronberg was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of center Max Bohrmann (207-91) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 6 rebounds and Polish Slawomir Klocek (192-84) who added 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side center Florian Dietrich (203-0) responded with 17 points and 7 rebounds and Justus Peuser scored 13 points and 4 assists. Five Mannheim and four Kronberg players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Mannheim moved-up to third place in South-West, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Kronberg still closes the standings with three games lost. Mannheim will face Koblenz (#7) on the road in the next round. Kronberg will play against the league's leader Speyer (#1) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
