Regular Season Round 3: Bakken - Randers 109-74

Date: October 11, 2018
Bakken smashed Randers in Risskov 109-74. The game was mostly controlled by Bakken. Randers managed to win fourth quarter 27-26. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bakken dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Randers' 36. Bakken forced 21 Randers turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Randers' players. It was a good game for the former international guard Adama Darboe (190-86) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 8 assists. Forward Sylvester Berg (201-98) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Bakken players scored in double figures. American forward Brantley Bynum (196, college: San Francisco St.) answered with 20 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import forward Dee Franklin (196, college: Ft.Valley St.) added 16 points in the effort for Randers. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Randers will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Bakken will try to continue on its current victory against Horsens IC at home.
