Regular Season Round 3: Silute - KTU 73-67

There was a surprise result when Silute (1-2) won against at home KTU (1-2) 73-67 on Friday. Silute forced 21 KTU turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for Mantas Serksnas (200-96, agency: Octagon Europe) who led the winners and scored 18 points. Swingman Evaldas Dziaugys (196-96) accounted for 17 points for the winning side. Matas Ragauskas (189-96) came up with 19 points and 4 assists and center Laurynas Miknevicius (200-98) added 7 points and 8 rebounds respectively for KTU in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Silute will meet Gargzdu (#7) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. KTU will play against Ereliai Mazeikiai and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
