An interesting game for Ankara D.S.I. (1-0) which hosted in Ankara Bakirkoy (0-1). Ankara D.S.I. had an easy win 89-73. Ankara D.S.I. players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Bakirkoy's players. Swingman Kaan Sariaslan (193-97) fired 13 points and 7 assists for the winners. Swingman Burak Erol (197-88) chipped in 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Ankara D.S.I.'s coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international swingman Cenk Akyol (198-87, agency: BeoBasket) produced 34 points (!!!) and American guard Chad Frazier (192-92, college: UAB) added 27 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) respectively for lost side. Ankara D.S.I.'s next round opponent will be Yeni (#16) which should be an easy win for them. Bakirkoy will play against Karesi Spor (#5) and hope to win that game.
