Regular Season Round 3: Ereliai Mazeikiai - Perlas 76-84

Ereliai Mazeikiai (1-1) recorded a loss at the home court. Hosts were defeated by Perlas (2-1) 84-76. Perlas dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Ereliai Mazeikiai's 28. It was a great evening for guard Karolis Giedraitis (194-98) who led his team to a victory scoring 36 points (!!!). Forward Simas Jarumbauskas (197-0, agency: Octagon Europe) helped adding 13 points and 5 rebounds. Perlas' coach Arvydas Gronskis allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was forward Caleb Davis (185-95, college: Saginaw Valley) with 23 points and forward Darius Griskenas (194-84) scored 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Ereliai Mazeikiai players scored in double figures. Perlas will play against Taurages (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ereliai Mazeikiai will play against Vytis to get more than just one victory in their record.
