Regular Season Round 2: Portoroz - Troti 82-77

There was a minor upset when Troti (1-1) was defeated on the road by Portoroz (1-1) 82-77. Troti was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Portoroz shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. Guard Aleks Cveticanin (190-93) notched 29 points to lead the effort and supported him with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Five Portoroz players scored in double figures. Even 16 points and 4 assists by point guard Crt Ristic (180-89) did not help to save the game for Troti. Martin Mezan (197-93) added 14 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Portoroz's next round opponent will be Triglav (#10) in Kranj where they are favorite. Troti will play at home against Celje (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
