Regular Season Round 2: Constanta - Medias 77-83

An interesting game for Medias (1-0) which played road game in Constanta against Constanta (0-2). Medias managed to get a 6-point victory 83-77. Constanta was trailing by 8 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 23-16 charge of Medias, which allowed them to win the game. Medias outrebounded Constanta 43-31 including 31 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Serbian guard Milan Vulic (193-91, agency: Promotex) notched 28 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line !!!) to lead the effort and Serbian Stefan Sajin (205-93) supported him with 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Medias players scored in double figures. Even 20 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) by American Deondre Ray (196, college: Cameron) did not help to save the game for Constanta. His fellow American import guard Brandon Lockhart (185-90, college: Drury) added 20 points, 5 assists and 4 steals for the hosts. Constanta's coach Alexandru Olteanu tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
