Selcuklu used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Petkim 93-84 on Sunday night. Selcuklu had a 32-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. Quite impressive performance for American guard Marcus Hall (185-85, college: Colorado) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Bora Pacun (210-87) contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Markus Kennedy (206-91, college: SMU) answered with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field) and Canadian guard Marek Klassen (185-92, college: Point Loma) added 11 points and 6 assists in the effort for Socar Petkim. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Selcuklu will face Akhisar Bld on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Socar Petkim will play against Manisa (#6) and hope to win that game.
