Regular Season Round 4: Rostock - Uni Baskets 82-83

There was a surprise result when twelfth ranked Uni Baskets (2-2) edged on the road higher ranked Rostock (2-2) 83-82 on Sunday. American guard Grant Benzinger (190-96, college: Wright St.) fired 33 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds for the winners. Center Martin Seiferth (208-90, college: E.Washington) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). American guard Terrell Harris (191-93, college: Georgia Coll., agency: Players Group) produced 16 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Martin Bogdanov (186-92) added 18 points respectively for lost side. Four Rostock players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Uni Baskets moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Rostock. Uni Baskets will face Walter Tigers (#12) in Tuebingen in the next round where they are favorite.
