The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Turk Telekom (1-1) in Ankara. Hosts were defeated by Fenerbahce (2-0) 80-72. Serbian forward Nikola Kalinic (202-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points and 6 assists. Czech power forward Jan Vesely (213-90) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) for the winners. Serbian center Vladimir Stimac (210-87, agency: Interperformances) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and American-Israeli swingman Sylven Landesberg (198-90, college: Virginia, agency: BeoBasket) added 20 points in the effort for Turk Telekom. Turk Telekom's coach Burak Goren rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Fenerbahce will play against Buyukcekmece (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Turk Telekom will play against Besiktas (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
