No shocking result in a game when top-ranked Niko-Basket (2-0) beat bottom-ranked Zolotoi Vek (0-4) in Mykolaiv 82-71 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 82-71. Niko-Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Zolotoi Vek's 30. They outrebounded Zolotoi Vek 50-25 including a 22-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for forward Vadim Zaplotinskiy (200-97) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Vladyslav Ryzhov (190-94) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners.
