Regular Season Round 2: Parklji - Grosuplje 92-66

The game in Bezigrad supposed to be also quite interesting. Grosuplje (0-1) played at the court of Parklji (1-0). Parklji smashed Grosuplje 92-66 on Monday. The game was mostly controlled by Parklji. Grosuplje managed to win second period 21-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Parklji forced 20 Grosuplje turnovers and outrebounded them 41-28 including 27 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Milan Kovacevic (200-96) had a double-double by scoring 32 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Jure Licen (197-0) chipped in 20 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Parklji players scored in double figures. Point guard Aljaz Marinc (190-97) responded with 27 points and swingman Luka Snoj (200-90) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. Parklji will meet Sezana on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Grosuplje will play against Hrastnik (#1) and hope to win that game.
