Regular Season Round 3: Stevnsgade - Randers 71-88

Date: October 16, 2018
Very important is a home loss of Stevnsgade (0-4) against Randers (2-2) on Tuesday night. Host Stevnsgade was defeated by Randers in Stevnsgade 88-71. The game was mostly controlled by Randers. Stevnsgade was better in fourth quarter 21-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for American forward Dee Franklin (196, college: Ft.Valley St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points and 4 steals (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). His fellow American import forward Brantley Bynum (196, college: San Francisco St.) helped adding 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Franklin is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was FYR Macedonian guard Boris Vukicevic (190-98) with 17 points and 4 assists and Stefan Jevric (202-98) scored 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
