Regular Season Round 4: PVSK-Veolia - KTE-Duna 82-84

A very close game took place in Kecskemet between KTE-Duna and PVSK-Veolia. Ninth ranked KTE-Duna (2-2) got a very close home victory over much higher ranked PVSK-Veolia (3-1). KTE-Duna managed to escape with a 2-point win 84-82 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of PVSK-Veolia. KTE-Duna made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when KTE-Duna made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian center Rastko Dramicanin (208-86) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and American guard JuanYa Green (188-92, college: Hofstra) who added 21 points during the contest. At the losing side American guard Kameron Taylor (198-94, college: Seton Hill, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and international point guard Mate Pongo (185-93, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 11 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. KTE-Duna moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 6 other teams. Loser PVSK-Veolia keeps the second position with one game lost. They share it with Szolnok. KTE-Duna will meet Kormend (#5) on the road in the next round. PVSK-Veolia will play against JP-Auto JKSE and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
