Regular Season Round 4: Triglav - Domzale 103-57

Bottom-ranked Domzale is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their fourth consecutive match to third ranked Triglav (3-1) 103-57. Triglav dominated on the defensive end, holding Domzale to just 6 points in fourth quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Domzale's 32. Triglav forced 20 Domzale turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Domzale's players. Guard Urska Zibert (174-93) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points, 6 rebounds and 13 assists for the winners. Bosnian Lejla Omerbasic (182-97) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Five Triglav players scored in double figures. Forward Vanja Tajher (178-95) produced 14 points and 9 rebounds and forward Jasmina Hatic (176-89) added 15 points respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Triglav moved-up to second place, which they share with Maribor. Domzale at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Triglav's next round opponent will be Jezica (#4) in Ljubljana. Domzale will play at home against Grosbasket and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
