Regular Season Round 4: Wolfpack/BMS - Naestved 83-100

Very important is a home loss of first ranked BMS Skovlunde (1-2) against fourth ranked Naestved (3-1) on Saturday night. Host BMS Skovlunde was defeated by Naestved in Skovlunde 100-83. The game was mostly controlled by Naestved. BMS Skovlunde was better in third quarter 26-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded BMS Skovlunde 48-28 including a 21-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by American Jordan Mathews (191-94, college: Gonzaga) who scored that evening 22 points and Filip Rajovic (198-97) supported him with 21 points. Even 13 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists by forward Andreas Meilby (203-92) did not help to save the game for BMS Skovlunde. American center Deionte Simmons (205-96, college: Chicago St.) added 18 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Naestved moved-up to third place, which they share with Horsens IC. BMS Skovlunde at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. Naestved will play against league's second-placed EBAA in Aarhus in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BMS Skovlunde will play on the road against Randers to get more than just one victory in their record.
