Regular Season Round 6: Schwabing - Leitershofen 64-76

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Topstar (5-1) defeated on the road 7th ranked Schwabing (2-3) 76-64 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American point guard CJ Carr (173-95, college: Missouri So.) who scored 25 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Slovenian guard Emanuel Richter (192-86) chipped in 14 points. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Joshua Obiesie (198-0) who recorded 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and center Marco Lachmann (205-91) added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Schwabing's coach Robert Scheinberg tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Topstar have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position in South-East with 5-1 record behind leader Wolmirstedt. Schwabing at the other side dropped to the ninth place with three games lost. Topstar will face league's leader Oberhaching in Deisenhofen in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Schwabing will play on the road against Bad Aibling (#12) and hope to win that game.
