There was a minor upset in Paks where higher ranked Atomeromu (2-2) was defeated by ninth ranked Falco-Vulcano (2-2) 82-75. The winners were led by American guard Ron Curry (191-93, college: JMU) who scored that evening 24 points and 8 assists and the other American import forward Juvonte Reddic (206-92, college: VCU) supported him with 17 points and 6 rebounds. Even 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists by American guard Shannon Evans-II (185-94, college: Arizona St.) did not help to save the game for Atomeromu. Serbian Nikola Jevtovic (208-89) added 14 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Four Falco-Vulcano and five Atomeromu players scored in double figures. Falco-Vulcano moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 6 other teams including defeated Atomeromu. Falco-Vulcano's next round opponent will be league's leader ZTE KK in Zalaegerszeg and it may be quite challenging game.
