Regular Season Round 4: Sopron KC - Kormend 78-95

There was a minor upset when one of their biggest challengers Sopron KC (2-2) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Kormend (2-2) 95-78. The winners were led by the former international Csaba Ferencz (194-85) who scored that evening 25 points and American guard T.J. Price (193-93, college: W.Kentucky) supported him with 22 points and 4 assists. Kormend's coach Antonis Konstantinides allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 18 points and 4 assists by American point guard Angelo Warner (188-92, college: Morehead St.) did not help to save the game for Sopron KC. His fellow American import forward Wesley Gordon (206-94, college: Colorado) added 17 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kormend moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 6 other teams including defeated Sopron KC. Kormend's next round opponent will be KTE-Duna (#6) in Kecskemet.
