Regular Season Round 2: Amager - Herlev 65-60

The biggest surprise of round 2 in Dameligaen took place in Kastrup where host Amager (1-1) beat Herlev (1-1) 65-60 on Saturday evening. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Herlev won fourth quarter 15-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Amager well out of reach of Herlev shooting 95.8 percent from the field. The best player for the winners was forward Cecilie Overgaard (178-93) who scored 22 points (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!). Guard Ida Klussmann (169-93) chipped in 15 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Guard Katrine Jessen (188-1) produced 18 points (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) and guard Thea Mikkelsen (170-1) added 15 points (perfect from the field making all six shots) respectively for the guests. Herlev will play next round against strong SISU trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Amager will try to continue on its current victory against Vaerlose on the road.
