Regular Season Round 3: TAC NEF - Tofas 74-75

It ended with only one-point home defeat of Tarsus (0-2) to Tofas (2-0) 75-74 on Sunday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Tofas players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Emirhan Merdin (195-1) who led the winners and scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Bora Satir (190-2) accounted for 10 points and 6 assists for the winning side. Four Tofas players scored in double figures. Tofas' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Omur Besiroglu (-0) came up with 18 points and 5 rebounds and Faik Kasikci (-0) added 7 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists respectively for Tarsus in the defeat. Tofas' next round opponent will be Anadolu Efes in Istanbul and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tarsus will play against Ozel Gelisim Koleji (#6) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
