The game between closely ranked teams ended with eighth ranked Mersin Uni's (2-2) home victory over 9th ranked Edremit (1-4) 82-56 on Friday. Edremit's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Mersin Uni moved-up to seventh place. Edremit lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the eleventh position with four games lost. Mersin Uni will face league's second-placed Cankaya in Ankara in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Edremit will play at home against Yalova Vip (#16) and hope to win that game.
