Regular Season Round 4: LTH Castings - Medvode 83-67

Bottom-ranked Medvode (0-3) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their third consecutive match to seventh ranked LTH Castings (2-2) 83-67 on Saturday evening. The game without a history. LTH Castings led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. LTH Castings outrebounded Medvode 42-26 including 17 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Matic Vesel (206-98, college: Illinois) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and forward Matija Vravnik (202-92) who added 6 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side guard Jure Misic (190-87) responded with 30 points and 8 rebounds and forward Jure Ribnikar (196-94) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. LTH Castings moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Celje and Troti. Medvode at the other side still closes the standings with three games lost. LTH Castings is looking forward to face Troti (#5) on the road in the next round. Medvode will play against Parklji (#8) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
