Fortuna's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after two consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Ukmerge, where they defeated Vilkmerge (0-2) 90-79. Fortuna made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Vilkmerge turnovers. They shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Fortuna players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Lina Mikeleviciene (183-87) who scored 30 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. The former international guard Andra Gabalyte (179-80, college: Liberty) chipped in a double-double by scoring 22 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Kourtni Perry (188-93, college: Central State) who recorded 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international point guard Gabriele Gutkauskaite (175-90, agency: LBM Management) added 16 points, 6 assists and 4 steals respectively. Four Vilkmerge players scored in double figures. Vilkmerge's coach Gytautas Kievinas rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Fortuna (1-2) left bottom position moving up to third place. Vilkmerge at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
