Bahcehir's fans can celebrate the first win of their team after three consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Selcuklu (0-4) 69-55 on Saturday. Bahcehir held Selcuklu to an opponent 23.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 36.8 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Selcuklu 50-36 including 35 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by Berke Akcam (-0) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and guard Arda Tunca (188-0) supported him with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Even a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds by Ali Okmen (-0) did not help to save the game for Selcuklu. Yasin Yilmaz (-1) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Bahcehir (1-3) left bottom position moving up to seventh place, which they share with Galatasaray and Istanbul BBSK. It was Selcuklu's fourth loss in a row. They still close the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Afyon and Adatip Sakarya. Bahcehir will meet league's second-placed Darussafaka in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Selcuklu will play against Pinar Karsiyaka (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
