Regular Season Round 7: Rosenheim - TSV Troester 83-81

There was a surprise result when thirteenth ranked Rosenheim (2-4) edged at home 4th placed TSV Troester (4-3) 83-81 on Saturday. It was a very good performance for American point guard Jguwon Hogges (173-86, college: Oregon Tech) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Naturalized Albanian guard Shkelzen Bekteshi (185-91) contributed with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Guard Joerg Dippold (195-92) answered with 20 points and 5 rebounds and guard Alexander Engel (191-93) added 13 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for TSV Troester. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Rosenheim moved-up to twelfth place in South-East. TSV Troester lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the third position with three games lost. Rosenheim will face Bad Aibling (#13) on the road in the next round.
