The game between closely ranked teams ended with third ranked RSV Eintracht's (6-1) home victory over 4th placed Langenhagen (5-3) in Stahnsdorf 78-70 on Saturday. Strangely Langenhagen outrebounded RSV Eintracht 33-21 including 23 on the defensive glass. It was a very good performance for swingman Sebastian Fuelle (193-92) who helped to win the game recording 18 points. Lithuanian point guard Karolis Babkauskas (185-91, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 16 points and 4 assists for the winners. Forward Bart Zents (198-92) answered with 10 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Tim Brauner (185-91) added 14 points in the effort for Langenhagen. Five RSV Eintracht and four Langenhagen players scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for RSV Eintracht. They moved-up to second place in North, which they share with Goetting.ASC. Newly promoted Langenhagen keeps the fourth position with three games lost. RSV Eintracht will face ALBA-2 (#15) in Berlin in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Langenhagen will play at home against Vechta-2 (#11) and hope to win that game.
