Regular Season Round 5: Vechta - Braunschweig 87-79

Bottom-ranked Braunschweig is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to fourteenth ranked SC Rasta Vechta (2-3) 87-79. They made 21-of-24 charity shots (87.5 percent) during the game. American guard TJ Bray (196-92, college: Princeton) stepped up and scored 17 points and 5 assists for the winners and his fellow American import swingman Austin Hollins (195-91, college: Minnesota) chipped in 20 points and 4 steals. Four Braunschweig players scored in double figures. SC Rasta Vechta moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Bremerhaven and Ludwigsburg. Braunschweig at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. They share the position with MBC. SC Rasta Vechta will play against Crailsheim Merlins (#15) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Braunschweig will play against Brose Baskets and hopes to get finally their first victory.
