Regular Season Round 4: Anadolu Efes - Tofas 76-56

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Tofas (2-1) in Istanbul on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by top-ranked Anadolu Efes (3-0) 76-56. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Tofas. Anadolu Efes forced 19 Tofas turnovers and outrebounded them 46-33 including 18 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Mustafa Kurtuldum (196-1) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Mert Camci (202-0) contributed with 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Emirhan Merdin (195-1) replied with 20 points and forward Berkcan Keskindemir (205-1) added 12 points in the effort for Tofas. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Anadolu Efes have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 3-0 record behind leader Banvit. Tofas at the other side keeps the third place with one game lost. They share the position with Arel Univ.. Anadolu Efes are looking forward to face Tarsus (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tofas will play against Arel Univ (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
