Very predictable result when first ranked Wolmirstedt (7-1) won against on the road 7th ranked Stade (3-3) 75-71 on Sunday. It was a very good performance for forward Julius Stahl (195-95) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Croatian power forward Dino Erceg (203-85) contributed with 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Spanish power forward Oscar Andres (200-87) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and American forward Reco McCarter (198-90, college: Campbell) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Stade. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Wolmirstedt. Newly promoted Wolmirstedt maintains first place in North with 7-1 record. Loser Stade keeps the seventh position with three games lost. Wolmirstedt will face Neustadt TSV (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Stade will play against Cuxhaven and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
