The game between fourth ranked Dnipro (5-3) and 7th ranked Cherkasy (1-4) in Dnipro on Sunday ended with biggest points difference. Dnipro beat guests from Cherkasy 97-82. The game was mostly controlled by Dnipro. Cherkasy was better in third quarter 25-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dnipro dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Cherkasy's 34. Cherkasy was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for the former international forward Stanislav Tymofeyenko (204-89, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Cherkasy's coach Maksym Mikhelson rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dnipro moved-up to second place, which they share with Khimik and Kyiv Basket. Cherkasy lost fourth consecutive game. Defending champion keeps the seventh position with four games lost. Dnipro will face league's leader Zaporizhye in Zaporozhye in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Cherkasy will play at home against the league's second-placed Khimik (#2) and hope to win that game.
