Bottom-ranked Afyon (0-5) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to fifth ranked Turk Telekom (3-2) 100-62 on Wednesday evening. Turk Telekom forced 22 Afyon turnovers and outrebounded them 44-33 including 16 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was Zahid Isaoglu (-0) who scored 28 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Yigit Ozkan (-1) chipped in 14 points and 4 steals. Four Turk Telekom players scored in double figures. Abbas Albayrak (-2) produced 23 points and 9 rebounds and Tolga Korkmaz (-1) added 13 points respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Turk Telekom moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Gelisim Koleji and Gaziantep. Afyon lost their fifth game in a row. They still close the standings with five games lost. They share the position with Adatip Sakarya and Selcuklu. Turk Telekom will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
