Regular Season Round 7: Ehingen - Nuernberg 90-77

Nuernberg (3-1) recorded its first loss in Allmendingen on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by twelfth ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (3-4) 90-77. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Nuernberg. Ehingen/Urspringschule looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Power forward Kevin Yebo (202-96) fired 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. American forward Tanner Leissner (201-95, college: New Hampshire) chipped in 19 points and 8 rebounds. Center Robert Oehle (209-88) produced 17 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Jackson Kent (201-93, college: JMU) added 16 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Five Ehingen/Urspringschule and four Nuernberg players scored in double figures. Nuernberg's coach Ralph Junge rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ehingen/Urspringschule moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Uni Baskets and Art.Dragons. Nuernberg at the other side dropped to the sixth position with one game lost. Ehingen/Urspringschule is looking forward to face league's second-placed Hamburg on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Nuernberg will have a break next round.
